Cosmetic surgery is where a person chooses to have an operation to change their physical appearance for mainly cosmetic rather than medical reasons. However, it is recognised that cosmetic procedures can be beneficial in treating symptoms related to the underlying condition, both physically and psychologically. Common examples of these procedures are breast enlargement, breast reduction, body contouring and facial aesthetic surgery.

Dr Armstrong is Certified in all areas of cosmetic surgery by The Royal College of Surgeons. He is also a founding member and Trustee of the Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority, offering a range of surgical and non-surgical procedures.
